Wouldn't I get a better price if I sold my car privately?
Selling your car privately can he a hugely frustrating experience. It can often take months to sell a car privately and there are substantial risks with private sales due to various fraud scams that are ran by people posing as interested buyers. These scams can range from paying with fraudulent bank drafts to outright theft!

Outside of these risks selling your car privately can also be very time consuming arranging viewing appointments with numerous potential buyers who ultimately prove to be time wasting tire kickers!

Finally it should also be noted that selling your car privately can see you waste money as well as time with many private sellers forced to spend large sums of money on classified or online ads.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply trade in my car with a dealer and get my next car from them?
If you are buying your next car from a dealer then having “cash in hand” will always leave you in the best negotiation position possible for buying your next car and getting a decent discount in the process. Most dealers do not want to be “burdened” with your previous car and as a result will charge you a hidden premium for this meaning that you don’t get the best possible deal.
My vehicle isn't taxed or NCT'd, is this a problem?
No, we make offers on vehicles regardless of their tax or NCT status.
What paperwork do I need to complete the sale?

To complete the sale we require:

  • Vehicle Registration Certificate
  • Photo Identification
  • Utility bill with your address
  • Service History details (where they exist)
